He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph Carpenter and Eva Carpenter (Bonds). He is survived by: his wife Sue Carpenter (Tracy); his sons, Allen Lee Carpenter and Billy Joe Carpenter; his sisters, Janet Hopper and Marla Kirk; his grandchildren, Chrystina Rogers and Steven Carpenter; and his great grandchildren, Skylet Rogers and Derreck Rogers.

“Bob was a wonderful person. We loved him so much. He was like a brother to my dad, Tommy. Although they were just cousins we referred to Bob as, Uncle Bob. He was our family historian and we will miss him. Heaven had a great reunion on August 22. Hugs and love to Sue and the rest of the family from Tennessee. You are in our prayers.”
