She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Monroe Lilly, Jr. and Tinie Segers; her children, Vivian James and Charles James; and her siblings, Allene Ferguson, Nancy Lilly, Abrzine Bardin, Emma Wynn, Bernice Lilly, Frances Lilly (Lilly), Sydney Lilly, Emmitt Lilly (Lilly), Clifton Lilly and JT Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, Michael James (Cathy), Shelia Brown (John) and Nancy Borden (John); and her grandsons, Michael James II, Jason James, Brian James, Amon Brown, Ethan Brown, Caleb Borden, Jeremy Hale and Triston Haden. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
