With solemn reverence, we commemorate Maebelle James of Henryetta, Oklahoma, whose life came to an end on July 18, 2025 at the age of 85, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jessie Monroe Lilly, Jr. and Tinie Segers; her children, Vivian James and Charles James; and her siblings, Allene Ferguson, Nancy Lilly, Abrzine Bardin, Emma Wynn, Bernice Lilly, Frances Lilly (Lilly), Sydney Lilly, Emmitt Lilly (Lilly), Clifton Lilly and JT Lilly.
She is survived by: her children, Michael James (Cathy), Shelia Brown (John) and Nancy Borden (John); and her grandsons, Michael James II, Jason James, Brian James, Amon Brown, Ethan Brown, Caleb Borden, Jeremy Hale and Triston Haden. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren as well as a host of nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 25th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Dennard First National Funeral Home (6637 Main St, Winnsboro, LA 71295). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
