It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sharon Upshaw of Henryetta, Oklahoma, who passed away on May 16, 2026, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Sharon departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Sharon. Though Sharon may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rees Powell and Myrtle Powell (Stephenson); her husband William Upshaw; and her siblings, Delores Sharp and Robert "Bobby" Powell.
She is survived by: her son John Upshaw; her grandson Conner Upshaw; her brother John Powell (Sandra); her daughter-in-law Lori Crewse; and her brother-in-law Doyle Upshaw (Margaret). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family members, and friends.
