It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Meradith Hursh Norris of Hitchcock, Oklahoma, born in Watonga, Oklahoma, who passed away on April 11, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ted Hursh and Patricia Hursh; her son Casey; her nephew Austin Hursh; and her grandson Cameron.
She is survived by: her husband Steve Norris of Texhoma; her son Ryan Beck (Amy) of Weatherford; her brothers, Tim Hursh (Cindy) of Canton and Teddy Hursh (Candy) of Alamogordo; her grandchildren, Derek Beck (Morgan), Cooper, Cayden McCarty, Addison and Nahliya Beck; and her great grandchild Cache Ryan Beck. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and great friends.
Viewing was held on Friday, April 18th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 8:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 19th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Hitchcock United Methodist Church (317 Broadway St, Hitchcock, OK 73744).
