He was predeceased by: his parents, Manuela Chapa (Rangel) and Federico Chapa, Sr.. He is survived by: his children, Frederick Paul Chapa, Alfred John Chapa, Sally Ann Monday and Barbara Kay Stewart; his wife Lupe Chapa; and his son Hobart. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and1 great-great-granddaughter; four sisters and one brother.
