He was predeceased by : his parents, Walter Davis and Addie Davis; his wife Olene Reid; his son Brad Davis; and his siblings, Blaine, Dayrold, Stanley, Lois Higgenbothan and Mary Dee Manaugh.

He is survived by : his children, Suzanne (Keith Bonham) and Nelson Reid (Cherrel); and his daughter-in-law Mallory Davis.
