She was predeceased by : her parents, Virgil Cross and Estelle Cross (Anderson); her daughter Vanessa Merriman; her granddaughter Angela Gilbert Ellis; and her siblings, David Cross, Christine Summerton and Irene Cooper.

She is survived by : her grandson Jeremy Lucas; and her siblings, Katherine Sauceman, Lois Madron, Edsel Cross, Lloyd Cross and Donna Robinson. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
