He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert McCarn and Belle McCarn; and his daughter Amy Short. He is survived by: his children, Angie Faver (Lloyd) of Fort Worth, TX and Billy McCarn (Megan) of Moore; his grandchildren, Zakk Short of Portland, OR, Lucas Short of Mansfield, TX, Bo, Gracie Faver of Fort Worth, TX, Kaylin Short of Stephenville, TX and Tinlee McCarn of Moore; his great grandchild Jackson Short of Mansfield, TX; his nephew Jason Glass (Kelly) of Yukon; and his sisters, Bobbie Hart (Jim) of Oklahoma City and Debbie McCarn of Shawnee. He is also survived by nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Thursday, October 16th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Hudson-Phillips Funeral Home (301 E Main St, Holdenville, OK 74848). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church of Holdenville (310 N Broadway St, Holdenville, OK 74848).
