It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Laurie Danean Hignite of Hominy, Oklahoma, who passed away on June 2, 2025, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Norma Lea McAllister (Philbrick) of Oklahoma City and Paul McAllister of Wyoming; her stepfather Gary Philbrick; her siblings, Curtis McAllister and Catherine Herrain; and her grandchildren, Jesse Blanton, Hailey Blanton, Olivia Blanton, KJ Damron, Kylie Grace and Vaeh Lea Philbrick.
She is survived by: her children, Kati Blanton of Hominy, Kenneth Damron Jr. of Spavinaw, Karla Damron of McAlester, Kelly (Blake Ingram), Dustin (Allison Damron), Alyssa (Ethan Woodall), Faith (Kevin Sappington) and OklahomaDenay (Darvin Gore); her grandchildren, Kati Gore, Raegan, Parker Ingram, Kaci, Jace Philbrick and Aniyah Damron; and her siblings, Skip McAllister, Travis Philbrick, Steve (Sara Van Horn) and Stephanie (Darrell Bryan). She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 20th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Spavinaw Creek.
