She was predeceased by: her parents, Butha Lorene Morton (Coley) and Henry Morton; her adoptive parents, Lois Purdom and Royal Purdom; her husband Ronald Dale Cothran; and her sisters, Thelma Morton and Delma Reagan.
She is survived by: her children, Dana Lorene Gibson of Howe, Roni Lynn Ary of Howe, Oklahoma. and Jack Kyle Denny (Angie) of Hoyt, Oklahoma.; her brother Roy Purdom of Muskogee, Oklahoma.; and her grandchildren, Dera McGlugritch, Stephany McGlugritch, Tiffany Woolery, James Woolery, Jordan Key, Justin Davis, Jonathan Davis, Kaylea Cranfield, Justice Goldman and McKinnah Shell. She is also survived by Numerous great-grandchildren, One great-great-grandson, Numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Viewing will be held on Sunday, May 17th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Dowden-Roberts Funeral & Cremation Center Chapel (28918 205th Ave, Poteau, OK 74953). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 18th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Victory Church (23896 OK-112, Cameron, OK 74932).
