Though Big may no longer walk among us, his spirit lives on in the echoes of his kindness, the warmth of his embrace, and the light of his enduring love.
He was predeceased by: his parents, G. F. "Sonny" Parker and Margaret Parker (Skelton); and his brother Robert Parker. He is survived by: his wife Carla Parker; his stepson Cortni Gibson of Broken Bow, OK; his grandsons, Colby Gibson of Broken Bow and Caleb Gibson of Ft. Worth, TX; his sister Carole Sheffield of Ft. Worth; his nephews, Ed Sheffield (Michelle) of Dallas, TX, John Sheffield (Susan) of Ft Worth, TX and Zack Parker of Ft Smith, AR; and his brothers-in-law, Monty Graves of Hugo, OK and John Graves. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Mt. Olivet Cemetery (800 E Trice St, Hugo, OK 74743).
