It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bobby Joe Lane of Hugo, Oklahoma, born in Texanna, Oklahoma, who passed away on December 4, 2025, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Lattie Dorland Lane and Billie Louise Lane (Acker); his wife Opal LaVerne Lane (Clark); his son Robert Dale Coffey; and his siblings, Marilyn Lane, James Lane, David Lane, Paul "Skeet" Lane, Donna Kirby and Veda Standridge.
He is survived by: his children, Bobby Joe Lane, Jr. of Speer, OK and Shelly Lane of Speer, OK; his grandchildren, Malik Mitchell, Cortrell Mitchell, Shalee Mitchell, Alexis O'Neal, Jacob Nichols and Micah Dunnigan; and his siblings, Jack Lane (Kelly), Walter "Diggem" Lane (Debbie), Patricia Fritz (Randy), Lois Walters (Lee) and Jennifer Thomason (K. D.). He is also survived by 2 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other family and many friends.
