It is with sadness that the passing of Edith (Prater) Anderson of Hugo, Oklahoma is shared. Edith, born on October 24, 1962 in Antlers, Oklahoma, passed away on August 21, 2026. She was predeceased by: her parents, Orvel Prater and Beatrice Prater; her brother Keith Prater; her husband Ricky Anderson; and her nephew Aaron Cooper.
She is survived by: her significant other Mickey Smith; her sons, Curt Potts (Jenna) of Choctaw, OK and Colby Prater (Kristen) of Grant, OK; and her siblings, Anita Cooper (Tracy) of Fort Towson, OK, Regina Fernandez (Angel) of Deltona, FL and Lee Paul Prater (Judy) of Fort Towson, OK. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, family and friends.
