He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Browning and Viola Browning (McLemore); his wife Jean Marie; his son Phillip Browning; and his siblings, Carl Browning, Jack Browning, Charles Browning, Bonnie Faye Higginbotham and Geraldine Browning.
He is survived by: his grandson Phillip Browning of Portland, OR; and his nephews, Wayne R. L. Higginbotham (Molly) of Hugo, OK and Richard Eric Higginbotham (Jan) of Hugo, OK. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
He donated and supported the Hugo PRCA Rodeo and always enjoyed the annual rodeo and homecoming.
