He was predeceased by: his parents, James Monroe Blackwood and Della Margaret Blakley (Mcinyre); his stepfather Bill Blakley; and his siblings, Johnny, Eddie Blackwood and Deanna Sue.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Joyce Blackwood; his daughters, Julie Dickieson of Grant, OK, Melissa Marris (Joe) of Grant, OK and Kimberly Fitzgerald of California; his grandchildren, Jake Dickieson, Zachry, Skylier Dickieson, Keeley, Allan Green, Bubba, Alyssa Dickieson, Khrissa Boley, Chase Boley, Maddi Young and Charli Young; his great grandchildren, Briley, Wyatt, Kadence, Tuff, Ariel, Letti, Hadlee, Masen, Morgun, Lezleigh of Kollin, AJ, Owen and Baylen; his brother Jimmy Blackwood of Asher, OK; and his nieces, Sally McGregor and Dianna.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 4th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Miller & Miller Funeral Home - Hugo (410 S F St, Hugo, OK 74743).
