He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Hickman and Elsie Hickman (Smalling); and his siblings, Bo Hickman, Gladys Huckby and Betty Jo Humble.
He is survived by: his son James Allen Hickman of Choctaw, OK; his grandchildren, James Hickman, Jr. (Lori) and Kattie Rexroat (Kirk); his great grandchildren, Beau Hickman, Braiden Rexroat, Cierra Rexroat and Logan Rexroat; and his sisters, Imogene Hudson of Ft. Myers, Joyce Shaver of Irvin, TX and Katy Williams (John Henry). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 12th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Family Chapel (3 NE 3rd St, Idabel, OK 74745). A funeral service was held on Sunday, September 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
