It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Oletta Reeves in Hugo, Oklahoma, who passed away on March 31, 2026, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Bud Payne and Laura Payne; her husband Melvin Reeves; her siblings, Buck Shelly Payne, Tommy Joe Payne, Royston Payne, Ruby Jewell Payne and Lillian Prewitt; her siblings-in-law, Joan Payne, Mike Martinez and Gary Prewitt; and her niece Julie Payne.

She is survived by: her children, Connie Reeves and Steve Reeves (Teresa); her grandchildren, Danielle Allen (Jason), Rusty Williams (Candice), Alisha Lawless (Wade), Christopher Reeves (Chelsey) and Ryan Reeves; her great grandchildren, Gregory Williams (Corrinna), Madison Sorrells, Kynlea Sorrells, Jarrett Sorrells, Maverick Williams, Jayden Lawless, Radley Williams, Jansen Lawless, Jentry Lawless, Chance Reeves, Willow Reeves and Saylor Reeves; her great great grandchild Emorie Williams; her siblings, Dan Henry Payne, Deloris (Robert Blan), Mary Jane Martinez, Hope (Mike Buonaugurio), Dana (David Payne) and Johnny Payne (Deanna); and her sister-in-law Katy Payne. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
