It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard Raper (Hugo, Oklahoma), born in Maud, Oklahoma, who passed away on August 24, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Arvel Raper and Edith Raper (Jarrett); his former wife Ranean; and his siblings, A. J. Raper, Barbara Lee Campbell and Donna Benge.
He is survived by: his wife Gerry Lou; his children, Kim Johnson (JJ), Rene Stewart and Cory Raper (Shelia); his grandchildren, Alicia Rouse (Matt), Dustin Caldwell, Rowan Raper, Cody Wright, Chris Stewart (Elizabeth) and Toby Johnson (Kristie); and his stepsons, Jeff Tucker (Lisa) and Greg Tucker (Glenda). He is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
