He was predeceased by: his parents, John "Skates" Martin Hyland and Margaret Pauline Hyland (Allison); and his siblings, Jack Hyland, Frank Hyland, Albion "Lennie" Hyland and Velma Sue George.
He is survived by: his wife Cindy Smith; his children, Nick Rosenthal, Misty Connelly and Wendy Hyland; and his grandchildren, Javier Ramirez, Jr., Madison Connelly and Rachel Hyland.
