We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2025, at the age of 93, Rufus Carl Sales of Hugo, Oklahoma, born in Fort Towson, Oklahoma passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Rufus shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Rufus farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Olae Bire Sales and Lydia Sales (Gibson); his wife Dorris Sales (Ward); and his granddaughter Jennifer Scott. He is survived by: his granddaughter Brandy Scott of Fort Towson, OK; and his nephew Nelson Heddleson. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
