He was predeceased by: his parents, Delmar Berkenbile and Alta Mae Berkenbile (Morris); his sister Lucretia; his parents-in-law, Raevella Larson Hill Pyle, James Lenard Hill and Joe Pyle; and his brothers-in-law, Tony Shaddy and Don Mulder.

He is survived by: his wife Karen Hill; his children, Laura Mittasch (Mike), Dusty Berkenbile (Rhonda) and Kelsey Berkenbile; his grandchildren, Daevry, Bryce (Madi), Ryley, Jasmyn, Adler, Kelcie of Devyn, DJ, Dutton and Travis; his great grandchildren, Jagger and Aurora; his siblings, Joyce Young (Merle), Patricia Jenkins (Walter) and Chuck Berkenbile (Trish); and his siblings-in-law, Sandi Mulder, Mary Ann Shaddy, Marcia Brown and James Hill Jr. (Jimmy). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family.
