She was predeceased by: her parents, Ardyce Joy Lee and Robert E. Lee; and her sister Vickie Atkison. She is survived by: her husband Lyle Lester; her children, Juanita Lee, Robert Bonner and Lynette Torres; her grandchildren, Ashley Lee, Joseph Biven, Alexia Britton, Kenneth Biven Jr., Jayce Bonner, Elena Battaglia, Natachia Miller, Jazzmin Turnbull, Angel Zamora, Catarina Chavez, Scott Battaglia and Azaylea Torres; her sisters, Mari McCarley and Judith Rupp; and her friend Linda Martinez. She is also survived by 20 great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.
