It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jeffrey Murphy (Idabel, Oklahoma), who passed away on February 26, 2026, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Calvin Murphy (RC) and Merle Williams Murphy; his wife Betty; and his siblings, Robert, David, Lorraine Gray and Wanda Walker.
He is survived by: his children, Darrell, Steve Murphy of Dallas, Texas and Yvette French of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma; his siblings, Roger Murphy of Dallas, Texas, Ruby Porter, Sylvia Murphy of California and Twida Murphy of Dallas, Texas; and his siblings-in-law, Joyce McGlon (Joseph) of Midwest City, Oklahoma and Charles Hill (Patricia) of Idabel. He is also survived by ten grandchildren, twenty-seven great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and a multitude of nieces, nephews.
