She is survived by: her husband J. R. Abney; her grandchildren, Jesse Jay Kelly (Shalisa Williston), Gala Kelly, Brian Ishcomer (Alicia), J. R. Landon Abney II and Scott Whitaker; her siblings, Jerry Smith (Paula), Joe Smith (Joyce), Wayne Smith (Mary), Rachel Geesa (Gilbert), Bernice Owens, Barbra Crow and Geneva Friend (Jim); her brother-in-law Billy Hankins; and her caregiver Renee Williston. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
