He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Herman Cook and Clara May Cook; his wife Judy Eileen Land; his daughters, Rebecca (David Buffington) and Rachel; his siblings, David, Edward, Norma Rhea, Charles and James; his daughter Dr Robin Dossmann (Andrew Luff); his grandchildren, Shayla, Derek and Brandon (E'lodie); his great grandchild E'my; his granddaughter Rachel (Bryan Clump); and his great grandchildren, Andrew and Wesley.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First United Methodist Church (302 SE Jefferson St, Idabel, OK 74745). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 21st 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, August 24th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Ft Sill National Cemetery (2648 NE Jake Dunn Rd, Elgin, OK 73538).
