It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ronnie Bates (Idabel, Oklahoma), who passed away on August 4, 2025, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Bates and Josie Bates (Wright); his brother Samuel Wayne Bates; and his grandparents, Clarence, Fannie Bates, Carson and Julia Wright.
He is survived by: his children, Joe (Olive Bates), Jenny Rouse (Mike Lucido) of Van Couver, WA and Jessica (Travis Pharr); his brothers, Mike (Debbie Bates) and Paul (Tammy Bates); his grandchildren, Devin, Isaac and Wyatt; his sisters, Linda (Lester Clowers) and Glenda Bates of Idabel, OK; and his sister-in-law Joy Bates. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, other relatives.
Visitation was held on Friday, August 8th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the White Funeral Home (3 NE 3rd St, Idabel, OK 74745). A funeral service was held on Saturday, August 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Faith Assembly of God Church.
