She was predeceased by: her parents, William "Babe" Lester Butler and Stella Comb Lautaret Butler; her brothers, William Lester Butler, Jr. and Jon Steven Butler; and her husband Albert J. Hamlett, Jr..

She is survived by: her daughter Margaret Hamlett Shinn (Greg Shinn); her grandchildren, Jaimen, Jordon (Eve), Jennifer Shinn Becq (Francois Becq), Juliana (Lindsey Aliksanyan) and Janine; June-Elise Becq, Romy Becq, Naomi Shinn, Jeff (Jenny), Bill, Brady (Parker Smith), Alaina (Jack Nelson), Hart, Barrett and Calla Hamlett Smith.

Visitation was held on Thursday, September 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the United Methodist Church (24 2nd St SE, Inola, OK 74036). A memorial service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A committal service was held on Friday, September 12th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the Highland Cemetery East (E 595 Rd, Inola, OK 74036).
