He is survived by: his wife Debbie Dunlap Hammond; his children, Billy Jo Horn, David Grant Hammond II, Mark Hammond and Chrystal Hammond; his stepdaughter Chiquita Susan Smith; and his sister Jeanette Standefer. He is also survived by eleven grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; extended family.
