He was predeceased by : his parents, Dema Rodgers and James "Dan" Pruitt; and his wife Lynn Pruitt. He is survived by : his children, Tammie Simpson (Tim Schmidt), Gary Pruitt, Kathleen Mitchell, Kim, Buster Collier, Jamie, Tina Pruitt and Teri Towle (Caleb Daniels); and his grandchildren, Nathan Smith, James Cody Mitchell, Elizabeth Pruitt and Thaddeus Towle. He is also survived by numerous great grandchildren.
