We announce the death of Billy Ralph Cowan (Jenks, Oklahoma), born in Poteau, Oklahoma, who passed away on September 13, 2026, at the age of 92. Billy will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Agee W. Cowan and Grace Rachel Cowan (Murray); and his siblings, Mary Voegle and Joseph Cowan. He is survived by: his sons, Jeff (Rebecca Cowan) and John Cowan; his grandchildren, Molly Cowan Adams, Jace Vasser, Matt Hare, Chris Hare and Rey Little; his great grandchildren, Denver, Arrow, Mattie, Baylee, Hilary, Riley, Marley Jo and Teagan; his great great grandchildren, Charlie and Gunner; and his significant other Roseanne Creason.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 3:00 PM at the St. James Presbyterian Church (11970 S Elm St, Jenks, OK 74037).
