She was predeceased by: her parents, Richard Schuster and Catherine Schuster (Welch); her grandson Brooks Mittasch; and her father-in-law Daryll Waters. She is survived by: her husband Rod Waters; her children, Niki (Clay Mittasch) and Ryan (Mallory Waters); her grandchildren, Austin Mittasch, Sloane Waters and Reese Waters; her siblings, Bill Schuster (Julie), Tom Schuster, Jane Thatcher (Jim) and Jacque Schuster; her mother-in-law JoAnne Waters; and her siblings-in-law, Richard Waters, Kevin Waters (Beth), Jeff Waters (Sheila), Kandace Lallky (Stan) and Julianne Bernal (Chris). She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
