He is survived by: his daughters, Chelsea Schuermann of Pond Creek and Courtney Henderson (Shawn); his grandchildren, Jackson, Piper Schuermann of Pond Creek, Huckleberry and Beau Henderson; and his sisters, Kim McClain (Joe) of Jet, Oklahoma and Sherry "Lynnie" Campbell (David) of Jet, Oklahoma. He is also survived by Dog; as well as numerous nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, aunts, cousins and friends.
Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Jet Fire Department with Brown-Cummings serving as custodian of the funds.
