With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maxine Edith Smith of Jet, Oklahoma, born in Enid, Oklahoma, who passed away on July 24, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Maxine Edith has departed this earthly realm, her legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May her spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Max W. Humphrey, Sr. and Lillian Humphrey (Blocker); her former husband Jerry Smith; and her brother Max Humphrey, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Bruce Ratzlaff; her sons, Darin Smith (Sharla) of Fairview and Monty Smith (Renea) of Trout, Louisiana; and her sisters, Lilly Ellis and Debbie Martin. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews; other relatives and friends.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 26th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (6405 Memorial Dr, Enid, OK 73701).
