He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Slay and Bernice Slay (Conn); and his sister Myrtle Beasley (Myrtie). He is survived by: his wife Brenda Slay; his daughter Shana Frizzell (Jackie); his siblings, Walter Junior Slay (Venita), Freddie Slay of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Doris Auld of Duncan, Oklahoma; and his grandchildren, Shane Frizzell of Pauls Valley and Hailey Frizzell of Lindsay, Oklahoma..
A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Green Hill Cemetery (13773 E1490 Rd, Lindsay, OK 73052).
