We announce the death of Ellen Jean Barnes of Kingston, Oklahoma, born in Williamstown, Massachusetts, who passed away on August 17, 2026, at the age of 86. Ellen will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her brothers, Arthur Galusha and Neil Galusha. She is survived by: her husband David Barnes; her children, Diana Marie Hanrahan (Joe), Mary Ellen Kanne (Chris) and Michael John Guthrie (Lori); her stepchildren, Mark Barnes, Susie Cammarata and David M. Barnes; and her grandchildren, Samantha Robbins, Alexandra Hooker, Sarah Lopez, Garrett Kanne and Erica Guthrie. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
