She was predeceased by: her parents, Otis Glenn Couch and Lanie Jane Tillery Wellman; her spouse Merle Boyd Steele; her sister Mary Ann Carlisle; her brother-in-law Marvin Carlisle; and her brother Darrel Couch.
She is survived by: her daughter Shannon Wyatt (Erick) of Kingston, Oklahoma.; her brothers, Bud Couch (Glenda) of Victoria and Stanley Couch of Dallas, Texas.; her grandchildren, Allison Jane Boone of Durant, Jillian Taylor Boone of Kingston, Payton Michelle Giles of Kingston and Lexi Wyatt of Kingston, Oklahoma.; and her great grandchildren, Braxton Glenn and Camdyn Thomas of Durant, Oklahoma.. She is also survived by her daughter, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Watts Funeral Home (707 US-70, Kingston, OK 73439). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Saturday, September 19th 2026 at the Woodville Cemetery.
