He was predeceased by: his father Ewald Schneider (Clara); his wife Carol; his mother Helen Casarez (Virgilio "Chico"); his siblings, William Schneider, George Schneider, Catherine Schneider and Betty Krull; and his son-in-law Cowboy Joe Russell.
He is survived by: his daughters, Joni Bickerstaff of Longview and Kathi Schneider Shaw; and his siblings-in-law, Debbie Rose Seaton Siech of Waterloo and Don Krull of Cedar Falls. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
