He was predeceased by: his mother Sally Schmidt of Bethany, OK; his grandparents, Robert, Meta Schmidt, Lambert F. and Ethel Holladay; his father John W. Schmidt; and his brother-in-law Don Romine.
He is survived by: his sister Mary; his significant other Betty Ruth Klemme; his granddaughters, Tammy and Misty; his siblings, Warren Schmidt (Brenda) of Rodeo, NM and Betty Mason (Brad) of Edmond, OK.; his stepdaughter Peggy Hendricks; his stepgranddaughters, Tammy and Misty; his niece Jill Frost (Jason); his great-nephews, Kaden and Samuel of Guthrie, OK; his great-niece Olivia; his nephew Darin Troutman (Kim); and his great-nephews, Jason, Blake and Chance. He is also survived by his step granddaughters) and their husbands & children.
