She was predeceased by: her parents, Merle J. Sexton and Ruby Lee Sexton (Cline); her husband Leon W. McClendon; her grandsons, Jamin McClendon Clifton and Justin Leon McClendon; and her siblings, Yvonne "Vonnie" Newberry and Gerald Wayne Sexton.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn Clifton (Joe), Marilyn Wilson (Joe) and Don McClendon; her grandsons, Tyler Clifton (Ashley), Zack Wilson, Alex Wilson (Katy), Caleb McClendon (Elizabeth) and Stephen Nash; her great grandchildren, Gage Nash, Gunner Nash, Eli Wilson, Emmett Wilson, Ariyah Clifton and Jace Green; her siblings-in-law, Joyce Sexton and Ralph McClendon (Marian); and her close friend Patrick Smith. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.
