Denny Wisely wrote a sympathy message

“Ross and Marsha were the sweetest people I have ever known. I was in VF-`114 with Ross flying F-4 Phantoms in Vietnam. I was flying when he had to eject and was rescued by a Navy helicopter. Later, when we were driving from the West Coast to Virginia, we stopped to see them in Laverne. Ross took me flying in his airplane from his own dirt runway! What a great guy!”
