It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Billy Herndon of Lawton, Oklahoma, born in Snyder, Oklahoma, who passed away on February 12, 2024, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Jean Bowles (Goodman) and Bud Bowles; and his daughter Shannon Herndon. He is survived by: his sons, Jonathon Herndon (Hicel) of Oklahoma City and Clint Hyatt; his mother-in-law Debbie Jones; his grandsons, Liam and Denver Herndon; and his siblings, Steve Herndon (Melody) of Gordonville, Barbara Baker (David) of Cache, A. C. Bowles of Oklahoma City and Joel Bowles (Lydia) of Indiahoma, Oklahoma. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
