He was predeceased by: his mother Bonnie Carol Dunlap; and his brother Steve Sutherland. He is survived by: his wife Mary Rushin; his children, Brett Reed, II (Rebekah), Gina Muse (Keith), Rebecca Vargas, Morgan Albrecht (Alex Stewart), Jennifer Clark (David Clark), Heather Duncan (Chris) and Trey Gaines (Elizabeth); and his siblings, Deborah Grubb (Paul) and Vernie Jacobs. He is also survived by twenty-one grandchildren, nine great grandchildren.
