Darren leaves behind cherished memories for friends, family, and all who had the privilege of knowing him. Darren’s life was marked by connections and experiences that touched those around him. Though he is no longer with us, the moments shared, the laughter, and the support he offered will continue to resonate. All who knew Darren will carry forward his memory in their hearts.
He was predeceased by: his father Robert Ellett Durfey. He is survived by: his wife Sunshine Autumn Lanette Tripp; his children, Aspen, Vienna, Noelle and Summit; his mother Dixie Durfey; and his siblings, Kerry Durfey (Suann), Dana Sargent (Jeff) and Michelle Swank (Chris). He is also survived by 36 nephews and nieces, many great nephews & great-nieces, cousins, aunts, and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (220 Woodland Hills Dr, Woodland Hills, UT 84653). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 9th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
