He is survived by: his parents, Gary Taylor and Melody Taylor (Funk); his wife Shay Taylor; his sons, David Taylor, Jr., Steven Taylor and Theodore "Teddy" Taylor; his siblings, Jon Taylor (Allie), Benji Taylor (Kayla), Caleb Taylor, Becca Wulf (John) and Mary Tompkins (Kyler); and his parents-in-law, Vanessa Rivero (Ruben) and Robert O'Neal. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and other extended family.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 9th 2026 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service was held on Thursday, September 10th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the First Baptist Church (501 SW B Ave, Lawton, OK 73501).
