With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald Thurman of Lawton, Oklahoma, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 1, 2025 at the age of 69. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dorris Thurman and Joanne Thurman; his brother John Thurman; and his great grandchildren, Adalynn Kerr and Walker James Kerr.
He is survived by: his wife Sherrill Thurman; his siblings, Richard (Kathleen Thurman), Kenneth Thurman (Mike), Sherrie Rhine and Rohn (Betty Thurman); his children, Jennifer, Rex Kerr, Jeffery, Steaphanie Thurman, Stephen Thurman, Hillary Thurman and Jeremy Thurman; his grandchildren, Ryan, Katlyn Kerr, Brandon Kerr, Jaime Thurman, Emilie Kerr, Jaiden Kerr, Sophia Kerr and Emersyn Thurman; and his great grandchild Amelia Kerr. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family, and dear friends.
