With sadness, we share the passing of Dwayne F. Brown of Lawton, Oklahoma. Dwayne, born on December 8, 1928, passed away on September 10, 2026. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Delsia Brown; and his siblings, Sandra Rogers, Ronnie and Dickie Brown Dwayne. He is survived by: his children, Nancy McConahay (late Jim McConahay), Linda Fleur (John Fleur) and Dan Brown (Helen Pugh); his sisters, Christine Russell, Linda Garner and Marilyn Carter; and his grandchildren, Tonya Dawson, Jerry, Kristin Vanpool, Bill, Tracie Bennett, Wray, Nick Fleur, Trinity, Haylee Brown-Kuri and Kayla Kuri. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and many beloved nieces and nephews.
Viewing was held on Monday, September 14th 2026 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home (1502 NW Fort Sill Blvd, Lawton, OK 73507). A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Wounded Warrior Project or St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, both near and dear to his heart, or a charity of your own choosing.
