She was predeceased by : her parents, John Benjamin and Ethel Bishop (Allen); and her husband John Marshall Mitchell. She is survived by : her daughter Kathy; her son-in-law Wayne Carnahan; her son Dale; her daughter-in-law Kathy Mitchell; and her grandsons, Aaron (Mary Kay Fraze), Todd (Tricia Mitchell), Cory Mitchell, Jared (Polly Peregoy) and Jason (Savannah Peregoy). She is also survived by thirteen great grandchildren.
