She was predeceased by : her parents, Norman Harris and Annie Louise Harris (King); her husband John W. Kemp, Jr.; her grandchildren, Lindsey Marie Kemp, Billy Williams and Donyell Williams; and her siblings, James Harris, Earnest Harris, Claudia Gomez, Dorothy Miller, Patricia Newby, Marie Freeman, Burness Harris, Fostina Christie and Glen Harris.

She is survived by : her children, John W. Kemp III (Jenny), Greg (Levy Kemp), Richard (Mi Harris), Philomena Williams of Lawton, OK, Arla (Floyd Alexander), Karen Kemp of Lawton, OK, Janine (Don Stoddard) and Gloria (Lawrence Taylor). She is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren.

Viewing was held on Sunday, April 21st 2024 from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, April 22nd 2024 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at the Lawton Ritter Gray Funeral Home (632 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73501). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Cameron Baptist Church (2621 SW C Ave, Lawton, OK 73505).
