He was predeceased by: his parents, Rondal Wilton and Betty Joy Compton (Gibson); and his brother Rod Compton. He is survived by: his daughter Candice; his son-in-law Bob Kusmer; his son Ryan Compton; his grandchildren, Dylan and Jen Kusmer; his siblings, Karla Davis (Garry), Jan Hover-Gliosci (Joe) and Steve Compton; his sister-in-law Kay; and his niece Mona Urbach. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
