He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer W. Tyler and Naomi N. Tyler; and his stepson Kevin L. Griffee. He is survived by: his wife Irene; his son Jeff D. Tyler; his stepchildren, Regina Logan (Mark), Tina Sorrells, Lawton and Wesley Griffee (Shannon); his brother David C.; his sister-in-law Glynda Tyler; his sister Patricia; his brother-in-law Don Davis; his nephew Theron Tyler; his nieces, Renae Mayfield and Neawana Garrett; and his close friends, John Shackford and Warren Harden. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
